The Good Crisp Company was founded by a dad of 3 daughters who said he wanted to recreate his favorite snacks without the top allergens and artificial ingredients so he could enjoy them with his daughters. The inspiration emerged in 2014 when owner Matt was following a food eliminations diet to improve his overall lifestyle. He states that he discovered that his favorite snacks didn’t quite fit into this new lifestyle so being the entrepreneur he is, he decided to recreate the classic canister chip without the artificial junk. Crazy enough, his 3 daughters LOVED the chips and in 2021, this company went from being just a chip company to a snack company when they launched Cheese Balls.
Not only are the chips amazing and healthy, but the overall brand also has a unique backstory as well as a philanthropic spin with partnering with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. This organization serves as a global leader in the fight against cancer and this really hits home to Matt’s family because his youngest daughter Trixie was diagnosed with Leukemia upon birth. The Good Crisp Company donates 5% of their online sales to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society with a minimum guarantee donations of $10k. Now THAT’S a company we can stand behind!
